چکیده

Objectives: To determine the role of CHADS-VASc Score in predicting No Reflow phenomenon STEMI patients undergoing primary PCI.
 Study Design: Analytical cross-sectional study.
Place and Duration Study: This study was carried out at a Tertiary Cardiac Care Center from Feb to May 2022.
Methodology: A total (n = 320) who underwent PPCI Armed Forces Institute Cardiology 4th February 3rd 2022 were enrolled this study. Patients divided into 2 groups, Comparision group with no NRP group. Descriptive statistics run present categorical data frequencies percentages continuous Mean±SD. Chi square test applied compare both groups regarding variables. score also compared groups.
Results: Out (n=320) patients, 80(25%) developed NRP. Age, Diabetes, LV EF, history stroke or TIA, peripheral arterial disease, TIMI thrombus grade, stented length found be significantly associated Binary logistic regression analysis revealed diabetes, CHADSVaSc independent predictors NRP.ROC cutoff CHADS-VaSc 3 good predictor (sensitivity 65% specificity 82%). Conclusion: can an important pre PCI tool predict during

Primary percutaneous coronary intervention: devices to prevent no-reflow phenomenon

Primary percutaneous coronary intervention, where available, has become the therapy of choice in myocardial reperfusion during ST-elevation myocardial infarction. However, in a significant proportion of patients, owing to a high thrombus burden, myocardial perfusion is not fully achieved in the epicardial vessel. This phenomenon has been attributed predominantly to the distal embolization of th...

No-Reflow Phenomenon in Patients with ST-Elevation Acute Myocardial Infarction, Treated with Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention: A Study of Predictive Factors

Introduction: No-reflow phenomenon in coronary vessels, manifested in some patients with reperfused acute myocardial infarction (MI), is associated with poor clinical and functional outcomes. Therefore, evaluation of predisposing risk factors can be helpful in risk assessment and identification of patients at higher risk. Herein, we aimed to study the predictive factors for the development of...

Predictive Value of the No-Reflow Phenomenon and Epicardial Adipose Tissue for Clinical Outcomes After Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention.

INTRODUCTION The determinants of clinical outcomes in patients with acute ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) are still being debated. The aim of this study was to investigate the prognostic value of the no-reflow phenomenon and epicardial adipose tissue (EAT) thickness for clinical outcomes in patients undergoing primary percutaneous coronary intervention (pPCI) for STEMI. METHODS The...

evaluation of the clinical and procedural predictive factors of no-reflow phenomenon following primary percutaneous coronary intervention

results mean age of patients was 59.47 (sd = 12.48) years, of which 75 (75.8%) were male and 24 (24.2%) were female. based on univariable analysis, white blood cell (wbc) count, pain duration, lv function, maximal st-change, thrombus grade and eccentricity were identified as predictors of the no-reflow phenomenon. after multivariable logistic regression: wbc count and thrombus grade remained th...

Predicting the no-reflow phenomenon following successful percutaneous coronary intervention.

In the setting of acute myocardial infarction, early and adequate reopening of an infarct-related artery is not necessarily followed by a complete restoration of myocardial perfusion. This condition is usually defined as 'no-reflow'. The pathophysiology of no-reflow is multifactorial since extravascular compression, microvascular vasoconstriction, embolization during percutaneous coronary inter...
